Big Progress on the House!

It's amazing to me how quickly a house can be built! We go from the unbroken ground to a roof over our heads and plumbing in the walls in just 2 weeks!

This is about as close to being a Keydet that Mama can handle right now. Give me 18 more years to warm up to the idea, Zio;)

Inspecting toys at bathtime. This is definitely a favorite time of the day for the Big. Really, any time he can strip those close off and "pre-fall" it, as we like to say in the cvilleredgate household, it's a favorite time.

In case you didn't know, we're building a home in a quaint little town outside of Greensboro called Reedy Fork--we'll be on the Ranch;) Here's Shaun surveying our property in Hardie Farm at Reedy Fork Ranch--looks good! Waiting on the permit, but hopefully they'll break ground in the next week or two. We'll for sure keep you updated on the process! We're so excited!

The LA Walkers sent me a fantastic singing birthday card (Thank You So Much!). We are still having so much fun with it! The first time I opened it Trey started bustin' a groove, so I was trying to get it on video, but he still gets so enthralled by the camera that he forgot to dance:)

Finally...New adventures!

Wow! Has it really been almost 4 months since I posted last? Lots of life has happened, and lots of growing as you'll see...haha...Trey doesn't even look like the same baby! As you can see, we obviously have no concerns with his eating, praise the Lord!

This post goes out to our two biggest fans, the beautiful Bella and awesome Aunt Jenny! Can you believe the Big Man is 9 months old! Boy oh boy!

I mean...come on...I can't get enough of this kid!

On March 13, Shaun and I got to go to one of the most exciting weddings we'd ever been to (we've been to a lot of weddings)...our dear friend Speedy married the gorgeous Erica Kuelz! What a fun couple! Could I have taken a picture of the bride and groom? Apparently not...but I did snag some pics of some of the greatest Aletheians I know;)

It was totally Aletheia Christmas! I was a little overboard excited, but I just couldn't help it. I didn't realize how much I miss all you guys till I got to see you all in one place...

Shaun and I getting away for a night at the Ritz! Nothing like curling up to a movie in your fancy ric-robey:) We love to make sure we take advantage of all the amenities.

Big Man's first hike! We were walking down the trail and all of a sudden Shaun stops. There is a brown snake curled up right beside up--staring right at us! I was so freaked out. I'd obviously not been catching up on my "Survivor's Guide" lately.

Trey meets cousin Jenny at our Hunter family lunches. Love that this is our new thing, Aunt Gaynell! Great idea!

That's right! Trey was officially the youngest voter at the Crozet Elementary School location.

Me and my sweet little horsey trotting threw the Lawn on Halloween. We were representing our church--handing out info, and doing a little trick-or-treating ourselves. Unfortunately, I think they figured me out, when my child was asleep, and Mom was still asking for candy. Oops--anything for a whopper;) Haha, just discovered I like those puppies.

This was Biggie's first walk facing forward! What a stud!

"Hey Bella, I was wondering if you think this makes me look taller?"

"Thanks, cousin Anita, for my blanket! I love it:) "

"ahhh, it's been a tough day. Just want to kick back and relax in a nice bath."

So, I'm still trying to master the art of consistent blogging, but I'm hoping that we'll get it down soon enough! And, I think I mention this every time, but I love, love, love the comments! If someone knows a way to set up notification that someone has updated their blog, commented on ours, that we've updated ours, or a way to "follow" other blogs--I did it for one, but can't figure it out for others. Yikes! All of a sudden I'm becoming more and more technologically outdated! Someone help, please:)

Sept. 26 at the Depot Grille in L'burg for Big Papi's 50th B-day Party! Trey is grilling that cake! So great to see our favorite Muros!

Grammy made it pretty easy on him just giving him two candles to blow out. That cake was beyond delicious, btw.

The other night I pulled in the driveway from my Mary Kay meeting and saw something taped to the door. Shaun and Trey and done a special project during "Guy's Night". On the door was a picture of my two guys holding the sweetest note to Mommy:) 

"It's Bath Night!" This is how we get the wee one excited about his bath times. I think he looks pretty fantastic in his rick-robey! And with his matching alligator slippers (or some cute animal like that;) ) Thank goodness he likes shoes--this child has a bigger shoe wardrobe than his Bella!

It's the Big Man. Loving the camera as usual.

Oh my goodness! I'm so stoked that thecvilleredgates have followers! Thank you all so much for the comments--too fun! And now that I know you're watching I'll have to be that much more diligent to keep you up to date--gotta keep the fans happy;)

I'm surprised the boy still has toes as much as I munch on them all day.
